About the Pushkin House Book Prize

Pushkin House Book Prize (Pushkin House, London) for non-fiction in English about Russia, 2013-2025: winner plus the rest of the shortlist (level Shortlist); six books a year, ten in 2022 (10th anniversary). No longlist is published. Year is the prize year as the body labels it (shortlist in spring, winner in June, books from the prior year). One category, labelled Non-fiction. Winners and the expected counts cite the body's prize page for that year (pushkinhouse.org/projects/book-prize/<id>); those pages render from the site's GraphQL backend, which gives the winner's name and title and the shortlist only as cover images. The cover file names confirm each year's shortlisted titles and count; shortlisted authors and full titles come from Wikipedia's Pushkin House Russian Book Prize table (fallback), which shortlisted rows cite. Translators come from Wikipedia or the body's winner text; a few were added from the published editions (Schlogel, Petrowskaja, Stepanova, Kostyuchenko, Dobrenko) and are unverified against the body. The Maisky Diaries (2016) is credited to its editor Gabriel Gorodetsky, as the prize lists it.
