Affiliate disclosure
Retail links can help support this site. They do not determine which books qualify for the archive.
The short version
We may earn a commission when you purchase through links on this page, at no additional cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
We may also use Bookshop.org affiliate links and earn a commission if you click through and make a purchase.
How affiliate links work
A clearly labeled retailer button may contain an affiliate tracking code. If you follow that link and make an eligible purchase, the retailer may pay us a commission. Your purchase price is not increased by our commission. Availability, price, and eligibility are controlled by the retailer and may change.
Commerce does not choose the books
Inclusion is based on published results from the literary awards and editorial recommendation sources described in our methodology. A retailer’s commission rate, a book’s stock status, and the existence of a purchase link do not affect inclusion or ordering. A book remains in the archive when no affiliate edition is available.
What readers will see
- Affiliate disclosures appear before or near commission-generating recommendations.
- Buttons name their destination, such as “Buy on Amazon” or “Buy on Bookshop.org.”
- Sponsored placements, if ever accepted, are labeled separately from independent selection records.
- We do not present a retailer as sponsoring or endorsing our recognition archive.

This policy follows the disclosure principles published by the retailers and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission. Their current terms remain authoritative:
