About the Sydney Taylor Book Award

Gold medal winners and silver Honor Books from AJL's list of all Sydney Taylor Book Award winners, honors and notables. Year is the award year AJL prints, announced each January for books published the prior year. Categories use AJL's current names: Picture Book, Middle Grade and Young Adult, called Younger Readers, Older Readers and Teen Readers before 2020. The teen category began in 2007, so 2006 has two categories. Notable Books and the Body-of-Work Award are excluded. Author fields name the writer, not the illustrator.

Organization: Association of Jewish Libraries. Years are award years, which can differ from publication years. Official site (opens in a new tab)
