About the Wellcome Book Prize
Winner, shortlist and (2017-2019) longlist of the Wellcome Book Prize (Wellcome Trust Book Prize 2009-2012), for fiction and non-fiction about health and medicine. Year is the award year the prize uses. It ran 2009-2012 and 2014-2019; there was no prize in 2013, and in May 2019 Wellcome paused it, so nothing after 2019. The official site is gone, so every year comes from archive.org snapshots of wellcomebookprize.org/past-prizes/<year>. Longlists were first published in 2017; 2009-2016 cover the shortlist only. Titles are the short titles the prize site used. The 2010 page spells the Medic co-author 'John Nichols'; the author is John Nichol, with Tony Rennell.
Organization: Wellcome Trust. Years are award years, which can differ from publication years. Official site (opens in a new tab)
