About the Oprah's Book Club

Year is the year Oprah announced the pick. Oprah.com blocks scripted access and the Oprah Daily list shows only the newest 20 picks, so 2006-2023 counts and entries come from Wikipedia (Oprah's Book Club and Oprah's Book Club 2.0), and 2024-2025 from the Oprah Daily list. American Dirt (January 2020) is missing from Wikipedia and comes from Oprah Daily. Multi-book picks list each book: the Dickens pair (2010) and the four Gilead novels (2021). A New Earth was picked in 2008 and again in 2025. No picks in 2011 or 2013.
